Panattoni reaches major milestone at former Honda site
Panattoni has reached a significant milestone in its redevelopment of the former Honda factory in Swindon, with more than two million square feet of speculative logistics space now completed or in progress.
This includes a 920,000 sq ft unit available now and another 1.2m sq ft completing in Q2 2027.
The site also offers significant scope for further development, including consented opportunities for large-scale build-to-suit and pre-let facilities.
Immediately available, S920 provides 919,765 sq ft of warehouse accommodation, offering exceptional scale for major national and regional occupiers.
The four units under construction comprise S160 at 158,013 sq ft, S220 at 217,476 sq ft, S260 at 260,318 sq ft, and S520 at 521,745 sq ft, providing occupiers with a broad range of building sizes within a single strategic development.
S520 is scheduled to complete in May 2027, with S160, S220, and S260 following in June 2027. The range of speculative unit sizes provides occupiers with greater choice and flexibility, catering for both medium and large-scale logistics requirements.
The speculative programme forms part of the wider 7.2 million sq ft Panattoni Park Swindon masterplan, one of the UK’s largest industrial and logistics developments. Located immediately off the A419 and within eight minutes of Junction 15 of the M4, the park provides strong connectivity to London, Bristol, the Midlands, and the South Coast.
All buildings are being developed to Panattoni’s latest specification, targeting BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ and EPC A+ ratings, with roof-mounted solar PV, EV charging, and a range of measures designed to support efficient, lower-carbon operations.
