Wiltshire-based law firm, Goughs Solicitors, has announced its commitment to a new charity for the forthcoming year.
From April 2026, the firm will be supporting Wiltshire & Bath Air Ambulance. Based in Semington, the charity provides critical, lifesaving medical care to those who need it most across Wiltshire and Bath, operating across both land and air.
Its work relies on highly trained critical care paramedics and doctors, supported by specialist medical equipment. Speed is vital and from an airbase in Semington, the helicopter can reach anywhere across Wiltshire and Bath within 11 minutes.
Each year, Goughs undertakes a rigorous selection process to choose its Charity of the Year, involving colleagues from across the firm. Wiltshire & Bath Air Ambulance stood out not only for the essential service it provides, but also because of the charity’s close connection to the communities in which Goughs operates.
Wiltshire & Bath Air Ambulance relies entirely on public support to continue its vital work. Over the coming year, the Goughs team will be undertaking a wide range of fundraising initiatives, alongside volunteering opportunities, to support the charity. Plans already include organised events, firm-wide challenges, community activities and creative fundraising ideas designed to engage both staff and clients.
The firm’s fundraising efforts are already underway, with a “Spring into Action” focus driving the first wave of activity. Many Goughs employees are taking part in a packed calendar of events across the spring and summer, including half marathons, 10Ks, a sprint triathlon and cycling challenges.
