Wiltshire recruitment firm sponsors local amateur boxer
Swindon-based recruitment business iRecruit4 is lending its support to a different kind of candidate this year by sponsoring local boxer, Zach Corbett.
Founded by Ashlea Fisher, iRecruit4 is a local recruitment firm that is committed to giving back to the community. The team raised over £6000 for local charities in the Wiltshire and Swindon area throughout 2025 and provides a scheme which pledges a percentage of selected permanent recruitment fees to causes chosen by clients and candidates.
Ashlea, said, “Putting community at the heart of the business felt like the natural thing to do for me and if we’re able to help, support, and give back, then we absolutely should. It’s not just good business, it’s the right thing to do and helping young enthusiastic kids is so important.”
Zach’s sporting journey began in football at age five and during lockdown he discovered boxing. He progressed quickly through kickboxing belts and found his true calling at the Malmesbury Amateur Boxing Club.
This sponsorship is particularly close to Ashlea’s heart. She explained, “In my adolescence, I was a boxer myself. I’ve always had a strong connection to the sport and a real appreciation for the discipline, resilience, and mindset it builds.”
Despite only competing for a year, Zach has been named 2025 National Novice Youth Champion (57–60kg) and finished runner-up in the National Youth Championships. This May sees him take on his first European fight in Andorra, representing both himself and his club in a title competition.
Ashlea, continued, “Getting involved with the club and seeing Zach’s journey brought all of that back. You can see the dedication and hard work he puts in, and I know first-hand what it takes to keep showing up and pushing yourself. It felt like a natural decision, I wanted to give something back to the sport that gave me so much.”
IRecruit4’s sponsorship is a year’s financial support for Zach’s boxing and will provide any equipment or support he needs to progress his sporting career.
Sue Corbett, Zach’s mother, said, “This sponsorship makes a significant difference to Zach and our family. It opens doors to opportunities that would otherwise be difficult to access. Competing on the international stage is a crucial step toward achieving his dream, but it comes with considerable costs. This support will play a vital role in helping us fund those opportunities and continue Zach’s journey.”
Ashlea concluded, “Zach is a brilliant young man and what really stands out is his attitude, discipline, and willingness to learn. I’ve seen how much confidence can grow in someone when they’ve got the right people backing them. This year Zach is our BOY at iRecruit4, and we can’t wait to be sat in his corner!”
IRecruit4 supports businesses with temporary and permanent recruitment of staff, helping them to build resilient and effective teams, servicing businesses across the M4 corridor.
