One of Wiltshire’s most prominent small businesses, John Williams Heating Services, is getting behind this August’s Watch It Wednesdays free open-air cinema nights at Island Park, Chippenham.
The family-run company, based in Chippenham’s Bumpers Farm Industrial Estate, regularly supports local events. Company founders John and Debbie Williams are delighted to sponsor the open air screening of the 1978 film classic Grease, starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John, on Wednesday 16thAugust.
The film night is one of four throughout August being staged by the team at the Chippenham BID.
Debbie Williams, who is also president of Chippenham Chamber of Commerce said: “We were very happy to back one of the cinema nights for Watch It Wednesday and Grease was the obvious choice for us. When tickets for all of the films went live, they sold out in less than four hours. So residents are clearly supportive of this community event.”
Every Wednesday throughout August people of all ages can come together with a picnic and watch classics including the Disney film Moana, Back to the Future, Grease and Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them. All screenings start at 7pm. Watch It Wednesday is organised by Chippenham BID in conjunction with Chippenham Council. Spaces were limited to 300 people per screening with tickets which were free of charge.
