Gooding Accounts has announced the launch of a new accountancy training centre in Wiltshire.

Gooding Training Academy will be led by experts from Gooding Accounts, building on the firm’s highly successful internal training programme which has been nurturing local accountancy talent for the firm since 2017.

It will initially offer full-day and half-day training courses to help businesses and individuals perfect their bookkeeping software skills. The training centre plans to expand to offer complete accountancy training, including AAT courses and qualifications, from Gooding Accounts’ Trowbridge offices.

The small-group, relaxed teaching environment is ideal for individuals looking to kick-start their accountancy career or advance their bookkeeping software knowledge. The Academy tutors all still work in practice, allowing them to apply real-world experiences to help candidates develop knowledge relevant to today’s workplace.

Gooding Accounts Apprentice and Academy candidate, Elfie, who has recently been tutored to a fantastic 98% exam result, said, “The tutor’s extensive knowledge means he was always able to resolve any questions. The course content was delivered in a calm and relaxed teaching environment, which takes away some of the stresses of learning and has allowed me to achieve such great results so quickly.”

Sam Gooding, Gooding Accounts’ Partner and Owner, added, “Here at Gooding Accounts we’ve always been passionate about training the next generation of accountancy talent with outstanding results over a number of years. We’re delighted to be able to support Gooding Training Academy to bring our training expertise to help businesses and individuals across the county.”
