New appointments will take creative agency’s client offering to the next level

Milk & Tweed, the fast-growing creative agency which has offices in Chippenham and Brighton, has brought its total staff up to 22 with the appointments of Senior Marketing Manager Paige Daley and Marketing Executives Hannah Croft and Ed Sage.

The addition of the three new staff members will help drive the agency to the next level as part of a push to continually improve its service and work.

Milk & Tweed Creative Director Jake Jeffries said he is pleased the new staff have been attracted by the culture and inclusivity of the agency, which specialises in web and brand design and digital marketing. “We have new clients joining us each month and on top of that we are seeing more demand from our existing clients, so we need to ensure our standards of service keep pace with our growth,” he added.

Paige, from Bristol, comes with ten years of experience working for agencies and in in-house branding roles. The 30-year-old, who did a marketing management degree in Brighton, is looking forward to working strategically to help clients get their messaging out.

She said, “I miss the variety of an agency after working in-house in my last job and being able to work across multiple client projects helps me to flex my strategic brain a little bit more.

“When I did some research on Milk & Tweed I could see how fantastic the culture was here and I could feel the heart of the business just from what they were sharing on their marketing channels. I prefer a more relaxed environment that’s conducive to the feeling that no ideas are bad ideas, come as you are and then we’ll get the best out of you. That’s what I got a sense of here.”

Hannah, 27, from Chippenham, is a former St John’s School, Marlborough, pupil and gained a degree in journalism and publishing at Bath Spa University. After graduating, she went straight into a small legal publishing company that found itself at the centre of uncovering the Post Office scandal.

When she saw the role at Milk & Tweed, she relished the chance of widening her experience. “I always thought it just seemed so much fun and not what a traditional workplace would look like,” she explained. “I craved somewhere where I could collaborate with people and be in a team.”

Hannah works with a range of clients developing ideas for web copy and social media posts.

Ed, 29, from Bristol, went into marketing through an apprenticeship after working in retail. He has a variety of agency and in-house experience but took the role at Milk & Tweed to develop his SEO skills.

He said, “This felt like it was just a really comfortable place as soon as I walked in. I love focusing on SEO and the technical side. I have ADHD, which can be quite a struggle at work, but they play to my strengths here and it really helps.

“I’m already seeing a lot of positive results from the work I’ve done with clients who weren’t even ranking in Google now appearing on the first page, which I’m quite proud of. It’s a great environment and I’m absolutely loving it.”

The appointments come on the back of the agency establishing its first client relationship team, led by Meg Fenner-Jamieson.

Jake added, “We have a lot of fun here, and I have always wanted to build an agency that had a social side and wasn’t just about work.

“But we also are very serious about our work, putting our clients first and always striving to deliver the quality of service and work they’ve come to expect. These three appointments are all about pushing that service and our work to the next level.”
