Wiltshire firms invited to Greener Business Day

Businesses across Swindon and Wiltshire are being invited to a special event showcasing how sustainability is driving innovation, competitiveness and growth.

Evidence consistently shows that organisations embedding sustainable practices are more innovative, more competitive and perform better financially than those that fall behind. Increasingly, decarbonisation is becoming a pre-condition for long-term growth, enabling organisations to innovate faster, compete more effectively, attract investment and talent, and build resilience.

Swindon Borough Council, in partnership with the Wiltshire Climate Alliance, is hosting its Greener Business Day this Friday (22nd May) at The Workshed in the Carriage Works.

The FREE event is designed to support local businesses on their decarbonisation journey, featuring expert panel discussions, practical workshops and exhibitors from across the region.

It will also provide an opportunity to celebrate and learn from organisations already taking action to build a cleaner, more sustainable future.

Companies taking part include Zurich, Nationwide, Nanogreen, Wiltshire Energy, Thermo Fisher and Sinewave.

The event runs from 9.30am to 4pm and is open to businesses of all sizes and from all sectors.
