Swindon-based recruitment agency Aligra has been recognised by The Sunday Times as one of the Best Places to Work in the UK 2025, ranking in the top spot within the Medium Organisation category.

The annual survey, powered by employee experience platform WorkL, assesses employee engagement across six key areas: Reward and Recognition, Empowerment, Wellbeing, Information Sharing, Instilling Pride and Job Satisfaction. Aligra achieved consistently high scores across all categories.

The firm has invested significantly in creating a workplace that balances innovation with genuine care for its people. Initiatives include the launch of an in-house AI suite, a company-wide Learning Management System, flexible working arrangements, enhanced benefits, and the creation of the Aligra Foundation to support community projects.

Despite rapid growth, Aligra has maintained its strong culture, where individuals are listened to, developed and supported throughout their careers.

Mark Neilson, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Aligra, said, “We are incredibly honoured to be recognised by The Sunday Times as one of the Best Places to Work. This achievement is a reflection of the culture we’ve built, It’s always been about the people – one rooted in respect, collaboration, and a shared commitment to growth. People want to work here. They care. That’s what this award is really recognising.”
